Taxi
In the arrival area
of Stansted airport, Checkercars
taxi operators have a reservations desk. The cost of a taxi from the
airport to our home is approximately £14.00 - £16.00. You need to ask
specifically for the area Bishopsgate
as different areas in Bishops Stortford are
charged different rates.
By
Car
From the M11 come
off at Junction 8 and take the second exit off the roundabout A120
(A10) towards Hertford. Follow the signs for Hertford for approximately
1 mile. At the next roundabout take the second exit still following the
sign A120 (A10) to Hertford for a further 2 miles. At the end of this 2
mile drive you will pass a sign, which
says Thorley, St Michaels Mead, Bishops Park
on the left hand side, and you continue to go straight over this
roundabout (second exit). Going straight on you continue over two more
mini roundabouts, at the next roundabout there will be a sign that says
Bishops Stortford B1004 where you take a left
turning. At the next roundabout take the left exit into Oriole Way.
Continue along Oriole way and take the 5th turning on the right into
Kestrel Gardens, we are the fourth house on the right hand side - No
26, if driving please park your car on the drive.

Train
Take a train direct
from Stansted
Airport to
Bishops Stortford train station (journey time
about five minutes). Outside Bishops Stortford
train station you can locate a taxi. The cost of a taxi to our home in Kestrel Gardens is approximately £4.00.
By
Bus
You can take a bus
from Stansted Airport (No 308 0r 309) and
this bus will take you to Oriole Way which is only 2 minutes walk to
Kestrel Gardens.
Directions
from Bishop’s Stortford Tourist Information
Centre
Turn left at the
tourist information office and proceed to the roundabout. Take the
first exit at the roundabout and proceed up the hill. Across the next
mini roundabout. Right at the next roundabout into Oriole Way. Take the second
turning on the right into Kestrel
Gardens. The
house is the fourth on the right hand side.
